Last month we helped throw a 2 part of hiphop show featuring Rare Faction Crew (of which I'm a member) and The Ozarks. We did two shows in two nights, an acoustic show at The Fix Cafe and an electronic show at South Unions Arts. It was a really great time, and it was the very first public performance by some members of The Ozarks.

Jaro Cossiga is a beatboxer and producer from Prague who has been making big noise in NYC for the past few months. This track comes from his most recent release "Double Single". The song is called Time Travelin, and it also features New York locals 3rd Party.
Jaro's next full length "Hop N Nob" is coming the near future and should be a contender for the intercontinental championship if he keeps splitting time between Prague and New York.

Chicago graffiti hero Solve was stabbed fatally Saturday morning in Logan Square. Solve and I had mutual friends, and met in passing at the Chicago Round Table. I can't say I knew the cat well, but I was impressed by his work. He will be missed, but his ubiquitous art won't fade from the Chicago landscape anytime soon. Say a little prayer every time you see a SOLVE.
